4. How Your Information is Stored
Your data is stored securely through trusted third-party platforms such as Calendly, Stripe, and WooCommerce. We take appropriate measures to ensure your personal information is protected from unauthorized access or disclosure.
LiteSpeed Cache: This site utilizes caching to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator but may be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary. We may use QUIC.cloud services to process & cache your data temporarily. Please see https://quic.cloud/privacy-policy/ for more details.
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your data may be shared with third-party service providers only when necessary for providing our services, including:
Calendly: For scheduling purposes.
Stripe: For payment processing.
PayPal: We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Please see the PayPal Privacy Policy for more details.
WooCommerce: We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services, such as shipping providers and payment gateways.
Automated Spam Detection: Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Password Reset: If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
6. Cookies & Analytics
Our website may use cookies to enhance user experience and collect non-identifiable usage data through analytics tools. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being used.
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Password Protected Plugin: The Password Protected plugin stores a cookie on successful password login containing a hashed version of the entered password. It does not store any information about the user. The cookie stored is named bid_n_password_protected_auth where n is the blog ID in a multisite network.
7. Embedded Content from Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access the personal information we have about you.
Request corrections or updates.
Request that we delete your personal data (subject to legal or business obligations).
Receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us (if you have an account or have left comments).
Request erasure of any personal data we hold about you, except data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at: [Insert your contact email].
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
For WooCommerce, we generally store information about you for as long as we need it for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for XXX years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address, and billing and shipping addresses. We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.
10. Where Your Data is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Data may also be sent to third-party services like Stripe, PayPal, or QUIC.cloud for processing as described above.
11. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., Calendly, Stripe, PayPal). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Please review their privacy policies for more information.
